Fiona Ricketts and Anne Jordon

Fiona was employed with another local agency, commencing her journey with them as a receptionist then progressing to managing the trust account for the rental department and finally managing her own portfolio. Having sound knowledge in all facets of the department gave Fiona an advantage and the opportunity to far exceed her owner’s expectations. Fiona came to join Harcourts Launceston in 2007, commencing in a part time capacity she assisted within the property management department. In 2010 Fiona returned from maternity leave and was offered the position of Business Development Manager for the property management department. Understanding the importance of having exceptional organisational and communication skills, Fiona has thrived in her role as Business Development Manager. Fiona was recognised at the Harcourts National Awards (May 2013) by placing 3rd in Business Development Manager of the year across the group of over 394 offices. Fiona is responsible for the growth of our property management department. Her role is to prospect for new clients engaging them to do business with our team. Building a relationship with the clients requires a thorough knowledge of the local market, the services of our company, and of the company’s competitors. Our team deliver’s a professional, dedicated and innovative service, managing every rental to the highest standard. Fiona is married with 2 beautiful children that keep her very busy. She enjoys outdoor activities with her family and is always baking yummy treats for them. Keen to keep fit, Fiona attends her local gym and participates in fun runs in the area.


Anne

After graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2000, Anne lived, worked and traveled overseas encouraging everyone she met to visit her beautiful home state of Tasmania. This passion followed her home to Launceston where she spent the next 9 years selling Tasmania to the rest of the world in her role as the Sales Manager of a local adventure tour company.  Looking for a new challenge, Anne turned her sights to the Real Estate Industry and joined the Harcourt’s Property Management team. A self-confessed ‘people person’ she looks forward to interacting with the local community and making herself invaluable to her colleagues and future clients alike.  Assisting Fiona Ricketts and the Property Management Team Anne’s role is to help maintain the high standards of service offered when catering to the needs of our clients. Married with two young children and a large network of family and friends Anne likes to keep busy in her spare time. Most days begin with a run, a gym session or a breakfast date with girlfriends and she doesn’t like to slow down until it’s time for bed. Anne has a passion for travel, the outdoors, Tasmanian food & wine and anything adventurous!

Lily Baylis and Madeleine Chugg

Madeleine has been a part of the Harcourts Launceston Property Management team since 2012. Maddy joined the team in the beginning in an assistant role, which gave her the experience and knowledge to take on her current role as one of our Property Portfolio Managers. Having lived in Northern Tasmania all her life, and previously studied Environmental Design at University of Tasmania, her interest in property design and the local region is an asset within our wonderful Property Management team. She believes that efficiency, attention to detail and honesty are strong contributors to a good Property Manager, along with having an enthusiastic attitude every day. As a property investor herself, she has a great understanding of her client’s needs and concerns when it comes to looking after one of their greatest assets. Outside of work, Maddy loves horse riding and spending time outdoors with her dogs, she believes a healthy work life balance is imperative. 


Lily

Living in Tasmania all her life, Lily has grown up as a local with passion for her hometown. After completing college, Lily went to university where she spent her years working in retail and customer service industries where she acquired a large range of skills and experience. Deciding it was time for a new challenge and change of pace, Lily came to Harcourts with no Real Estate experience or knowledge of the Real Estate industry. After working at Harcourts for 6 months, Lily couldn’t imagine going back to anything else. She has found a new passion for Real Estate and the property management industry. As an Assistant Property Manager at Harcourts, Lily’s day to day tasks are endless. She is currently undertaking her course to obtain her Property Management License and just recently completed a 3 day Property Management training course. Lily hopes that once she gains confidence and experience in her role as an assistant, she will take on her own portfolio as Property Manager. Lily’s great organisational skills and excellent communication make her a valuable assistant and she prides herself on her friendly demeanour and attention to detail. Outside of Harcourts, Lily enjoys cooking, travelling, gaming and keeping an active lifestyle. She spends her weekends viewing the local scenery with her partner and going to the gym. She can often be seen wandering the streets with her nose in her phone, don’t worry she is just feeding her monsters!

Aliesha Bennett and Nikki Whittle

Aliesha has been with the Harcourt’s Launceston property management team for over a year now, joining us as an assistant property manager. This has given her the experience and knowledge to take on her current role as one of our Property Portfolio managers. Aliesha is now also assisting in training our new property manager that has recently joined our team. Aliesha brings 10 years of experience in retail and also has a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Human Resource Management and Marketing. Aliesha has started her career in real estate because she enjoys working with people in a team environment as well as helping people with their property needs, and believes that efficiency, communication, honesty and attention to detail are some of the best qualities to make a good property manager. 



Nikki completed year 11 at Launceston College in 2013 before starting her career in the dental industry as a dental assistant. Wanting a change, Nikki jumped at the opportunity to begin a career in property management at Harcourts. Outside of work, Nikki enjoys keeping active, playing netball and spending time with family and friends. 



Belinda Hyman & MIkayla Keating


Belinda

Commencing only recently with the Launceston Harcourts team; Belinda began her career in the hospitality industry working within large 5 star hotel chains, resorts and later small accommodation venues. In 1994 she transferred her skills to commence employment working in Real Estate as a Property Manager, also Administration and later in the role of a Body Corporate Manager on the Gold Coast. Belinda and her husband moved to Tasmania from Queensland in 2008 seeking a lifestyle change where she operated and owned a cafe/catering business for 5 years. Having worked all her career in customer service based positions, Belinda understands the importance of being a reliable, approachable , honest & dedicated employee ; committed to providing exceptional professional service to our property owners & tenants. Outside of Harcourts, Belinda & her hubby and two pooches live in a beautiful tranquil spot along the Tamar River, where she loves to garden and cook. They have not been disappointed with their decision to move to Tasmania, loving everything about it. Belinda offers peace of mind ensuring your property investment gets the care it deserves.


Mikayla

Qualifications - Certificate four in Human Resources, Certificate three in Business, Certificate three in Administration and Certificate three Tourism.

Shari Lockett and Hayley Templeton

Hayley started her real estate career early 2012. Having no prior knowledge of the Real Estate industry her passion for property management grew each day and she knew it was her calling. Hayley’s previous roles being a receptionist, letting officer & assistant property manager have given Hayley the experience and knowledge to take on her current role as one of our Property Portfolio Managers. Hayley prides herself on her customer service and communication skills and she believes constant communication, dedication, honesty and hands on attitude are essential for a good property manager. Hayley enjoys the fast pace environment property management offers, and also enjoys dealing with a wide range of people and having no day the same.


Shari has come to Harcourt Launceston with 6 years industry experience. Shari first started in the Real Estate industry in 2010 where she was a loyal employee of Peter Lees Real Estate. Shari started her adventure in administration/reception where she began to expand her knowledge of the industry and made the decision that Property Management was a true passion of hers. Shari soon made the move to the Property Management division, where she started as an assistant to the department which gave her the knowledge and experience to inherit her own portfolio, and has managed portfolio’s for 5 years now. One of Shari's biggest achievements was being nominated for the Leading Property Managers of Australia (LPMA) Rising Star Award. This resulted in her being short listed and being selected as a finalist in this award and represented Tasmania on a national basis as one of the top 5 finalist for the year of 2013. In 2015 the Peter Lees Real Estate rent roll was purchased by Roberts Real Estate, where she worked for 12 months. In Shari's spare time you'll find her spending quality time with family and friend and of course her puppy!

Cassandra Jones and Catherine Bissett

 

   Cass has spent the last 11.5 years in a client service based roll working with home lending clients. Cass worked in an analyst role for 4 years of these years providing staff management, coaching and development. Having        experience managing personal investments has given Cass an insight as to what owners and tenants want. Cass has 3 step children, who she adores. Along with her husband Cass loves spending family time adventuring          outdoors, playing/watching sport and making memories. 

   Why real estate? Experience in home lending and wanting to make the move into real estate. 

   What are your values? Integrity, honesty and accountability. 

   What qualities would you look for in a Property Manager to look after your property? To treat the property as if it were your own

 

   Catherine has been in the real estate for 5.5 years. Catherine transferred to the Harcourts team from Elephant Property, she was there for over 3 years. Catherine is extremely customer service driven, and always strives to        assist clients to the best of her ability, and follow through with what she promises. Catherine won the 2013 Tasmanian REIT Support Person of the Year representing the state at the National Awards. She also won the                Elephant  Property team player award in 2012 and 2014 (voted on internally), she’s also been a finalist in the City Prom Service awards (2012). Catherine completed her Certificate IV in Property Services in 2014.

  

 

Charlotte White & Alex Mills

Charlotte joined the team at Harcourts Launceston in early 2015. She obtained her real estate licence shortly after and began her role as a Property Portfolio Manager. Charlotte is a very organised person who is determined to succeed in every task at hand. Outside of work Charlotte values time spent with family and friends, keeping fit and playing netball. 


 Alex attended Newstead College and following 4 years in the customer service industry Alex joined Harcourts in 2014. Alex began working at Harcourts in administration and after a year she completed her Property Management course and received her Property Management license; she was then offered a position in the Property Management Department in the role of Assistant Property Manager. which she loves! Alex is passionate about real estate and works hard to make sure our tenants and owners are being looked after. Alex is gaining more confidence and experience each day and is excited for what the future holds for her at Harcourts. Outside work Alex likes to spend time with her friends and family.



Elizabeth Kerr and Karen Smart

Liz commenced working in the Real Estate industry with us back in 2011 as one of our Office Administrators. During the time Liz was in administration she completed her Property Consultant and Assistant Property Management license’s, and in assisting in both of these roles her knowledge of the Real Estate industry grew each day. After 18 months here at Harcourts Launceston, Liz made the move to Darwin and became a Business Associate for two of the top Sales Consultants before starting her career in Property Management. Whilst in Darwin, Liz proudly completed her Certificate IV in Property Services. Liz returned back to Harcourts Launceston as a Property Portfolio Manager in 2014 with a vast range of experience in the industry. Liz excels as she is extremely dedicated, focused and wants nothing more than to succeed with each challenge that she is faced with. With Liz’s prior experience in both areas of Real Estate as well as close to almost 10 years customer service, she brings a fresh look into our team. 


For the best part of the last 10 yrs, Karen has been a 'stay at home mum'. Karen’s personal interest in Real Estate came at an early age, as did her interest in Agriculture - which is why she initially pursued a career in that industry, completing her Certificate IV in Agriculture at the Longreach Pastoral College in 2000-2001 and working on cattle stations in north Queensland for a number of years before becoming a mum. Since becoming a parent, Karens values changed as did her pursuit for a better and less labour intense career path, which is what lead her back to the Real Estate industry. Karens Grandfather & her mother, together have bought and sold a number of properties throughout South Australia for a number of years, both rural and residential for investment & personal use. I am also a registered Stable Foreman with TasRacing, to Troy Blacker - Troy Blacker Racing in Longford. Troy is also Karens fiancé and they own a few race horses together as well this being his chosen career path. Karen loves getting home to her family and animals everyday - Karen enjoys going to races & sports meets catching up with Owners, fellow Mums & close friends.
